Fall Schedule is Out

A new schedule for indoor pickleball at Wulf took effect Monday. With the return of cold, snowy weather early in the week, courts were predictably busy. Please remember you may play only one session per day—give others who love it as much as you do a chance for some court time. That’s an EPRD guideline, along with others listed on the second page of the schedule that deal with stacking and scoring.

Impressive Costumes and Talented Dancers Rocked the Sock Hop

The Evergreen Pickleball Halloween Sock Hop at The Wild Game last week was great fun, with winners crowned for best costumes and best dancing.

Best Costume: Our fearless leader, Bob Taber, who looked fabulous in a wig, took first place along with Danny Zuko from “Grease.” Was it Danny? Sure could have been. But no. Linda Jacobsen played the part all night long.

Dance Contest: Jeri Herskovits and Frank Kassay reminded us just how nimble picklers can be as they jumped and jived.

Judges John Dunlop and Thomas Flint chose the winners, with the whirling and twirling continuing throughout the evening to the tunes of the ’50s and ’60s spun by DJ Jake Rutherford.

Jeri Herskovitz and Frank Kassay left it all on the floor.

Bob Taber and Linda Jacobsen went all out.

Grace Thompson and John Hoskinson put their best feet forward.

Sarah German, Linda Jacobsen and Jeri Herskovitz epitomized “Grease” cool.

Jeff Freeman and Mo Gohlke. Enough said.

Ron Isaacson channeled the blues and our favorite hippie, EPC social director Cherie Peterson, savored the realization that it’s time to plan the Nov. 29 EPC Holiday Benefit.
