Thirty world-class coaches and experts share the latest techniques, strategies, equipment, mental training and fitness in this online, multi-day event June 27-30. Last year 18,000 pickleball fans attended. Some of the topics this year include the oxymoronic “Women in Pickleball - A Sport for All,” the counterintuitive “Use a Soft Game to Boost Your Confidence,” the confusing “Choosing the Best Pickleball - It’s Not the Roof, It’s the Floor,” and the clairvoyant “The Past, Present and Future of Pickleball.” Evergreen Pickleball Club is happy to offer our members a free ticket. (Actually, all tickets are free, but it sounds like a good perk.)

Congratulate Monty Estis for Becoming President of EPRD Board of Directors

Apparently, doing a head stand while paddleboarding on Evergreen Lake will get you places. Seriously, we couldn’t be more proud and appreciative of all that Monty has done for pickleball in Evergreen in his two terms on the EPRD Board. Give him a high five next time you see him.

EMS Courts Get a Facelift

Okay, we were a little snarky in refering to the EMS Courts as “the dive bar of pickleball.” Considering that 14 of our members spent three days this week filling, sanding, taping and painting all four courts these might be the best “renegade pickleball” courts in the mountain area. Watch for our feature story next week with full-color pictures and a shout out to all who contributed. Check the Schedule for open play times and days.

Marshdale Courts Have Been Repaired; Ready for Play

All four courts at Marshdale were repaired yesterday and today. Not a total resurface, mind you, but repaired and playable nonetheless. We count our blessings.
