Field house meeting canceled
The EPC meeting to discuss the Buchanan field house project this Thursday, March 13, at Wulf Recreation Center has been canceled and will be rescheduled as needed. We are awaiting decisions from the EPRD board of directors regarding the direction they are planning to go with a field house addition to Buchanan Rec Center.
We want a primarily pickleball building with some auxiliary space, which is the goal of our ongoing fundraising campaign. EPC President Bob Kerr is delaying the meeting, meant for EPC members and others interested in the future of pickleball courts in Evergreen, until we can get some more concrete decisions from EPRD. Please stay tuned.

Bad shoulder? Share the load with the erstwhile good shoulder
Something else that stands the test of time is photos of Mac “Tim” McAleer, everyone’s favorite bench buddy. But just sitting on the bench isn’t his style, no matter what the condition of his poor shoulder. Thus this photo from Jim Stafford, who has bestowed Mac with the new nickname Edward Scissorhands.
