Women’s Doubles registration opens
A technical glitch on the EPC website affected registration for the Sept. 4 Women’s Doubles tournament yesterday, but you can go ahead and sign up now. Cost is $50 per two-person team. Players are required to be Evergreen Pickleball Club members.
If you don’t yet have someone to play with, check the “I need a partner” box on your registration form and we’ll match you up.
The tournament will start a 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, and is expected to run until about 2 p.m. Play, at Marshdale, will be double elimination, with top finishers in the winners bracket meeting top finishers in the losers bracket for the championship.
If you’d like to volunteer as a scorekeeper or other volunteer position, contact Mick Pearce, EPC tournaments director.
Women’s Doubles registration will close Saturday, Aug. 31, to allow the seeding committee to do its job.
Registration for the Aug. 28 Geezer Games continues until midnight Monday, Aug. 26.
