News Flash! Masks Are Now Optional at Wulf
If you’ve been avoiding playing indoors because, well, masks are a pain to play in, we’ve got good news. Per EPRD: “Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks indoors at EPRD effective Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Not fully vaccinated? We recommend you wear a face mask while in EPRD facilities. All EPRD employees will continue to wear their masks.” And with King Soopers dropping its mask requirement today, our two most-frequented facilities are now mask-free.

That’s the title of a feature story in 5280 Magazine this month. “From what gear you need to where to find courts to which leagues to join, we put together a beginner’s guide to playing the rapidly growing sport of pickleball in Denver.”

Last Day to Register for Dinkeroo
Looks like we’ll have six groups of eight players each competing in EPC’s Inaugural Dinkeroo Tournament. There are three openings left. Get your registration in now and get your dink on Wednesday, May 26 at Marshdale.
Speaking of Marshdale, the Weather Looks Promising Next Several Days
Many of us were outside today in beautiful, 70 degree sunshine. The wind screens are up, and three of the four courts are in good condition and playable. Registration is required, but expanded to 25 players by skill level. Let’s get out there and enjoy the most beautiful pickleball setting in Colorado.
Why Marshdale Should be Dedicated to Pickleball
With registrations required to play at Marshdale since April for both pickleball and tennis, we’ve been keeping count of the numbers for each. In April there were 201 pickleball reservations; 172 so far in May. Tennis reservations? A total of 11 over those 52 days. Who wants to run the cost/benefit analysis?
