It's That Time Again! Christmas Tree-Cutting Party

Pickleball players David and Kathy L. Smith for the last several years have invited our pickleball community to their home in Pine for Christmas tree cutting. Here’s their invitation:
“We are hosting the 5th annual Christmas Tree-cutting Party. You’re invited to cut your own Christmas tree (or if you don’t need a tree, just to hang out in the mountains). With our neighbors we have more than 35 acres with hundreds of trees in all sizes. You’re helping us thin this overgrown area. Bring a saw and twine or rope. We have a saw if you need it. We’ll have a big pot of chili and lots of cornbread and hot chocolate. Please bring anything else you want to drink. There likely will be snow on the ground, so bring warm boots and gloves.”

Saturday, December 7th, 10 am to 4 pm. December 8th if weather dictates.

Directions: From Evergreen take Hwy 73 heading south, past Marshdale to Hwy 285 south. Continue on 285 south till you hit the stoplight at Mount Evans Blvd, Pine Junction. Turn RIGHT, go 2.3 miles to Spring Dr. on the left. Turn LEFT onto Spring Dr. and 306 is one third of a mile on the left. Come up the driveway, there’s lots of parking space.
