Dinkeroo canceled
The club has spoken, or at least sent a message. Only 13 players signed up for the annual EPC Dinkeroo Tournament, so it has been canceled. The Dinkeroo had been planned for July 11 at 3rd Shot Pickleball in Wheat Ridge.
Tournament director Mick Pearce made the call while there was still time to cancel our reserved courts at 3rd Shot. “We can discuss the possibility of rescheduling the event at the board meeting,” Mick said. The EPC board is tentatively set to meet July 10.
Those who signed up for the Dinkeroo will receive refunds for their entry fees.
Pickleball get-together in Genesee
A bunch of fun folks gathered for a summer pickleball happy hour at Genesee Pub & BBQ on Friday, June 21, but we all eagerly await the return of the traditional summer happy hours at Marshdale. Not to mention the opening of the newly refurbished courts.
