Marshdale Open Play Starts June 15

Exactly three months to the day, free play at the EPRD facility returns. Starting Monday, Marshdale will have all four courts available for free, open play 8 am to sundown every day. Courts are limited to 25 players at a time and will be monitored by EPRD staff. To somewhat control the number of players, Evergreen Pickleball Club is establishing days/times by skill level so that we’re not overrun and risk a shutdown.
Here’s the schedule:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday
8-10 am Advanced
10-Noon Intermediate/Social

Tuesday/Sunday
8-10 am Intermediate/Social
10-Noon Advanced

Thursday
8-10 am Ladders
10-11:30 Mentors

Saturday (starting July 11 thru Aug. 1)
EPRD Beginner Lessons (one court)
8:30-10 am & 10:15-11:45 am
Novice/Lower Intermediate (three courts)
8 am-Noon

Note: Courts will be closed Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19 for maintenance and repairs.

There will be no Mixed Play to avoid “doubling up” on the number of players at any one time.
No reservations required. However, you can still reserve and pay for a court. Reservations take precedence over open play, so respect those players who have reserved a court. Masks are mandatory and gloves are recommended. There are no benches so bring your chairs and water bottles. Be sure to social distance. Allow the group ahead of you to come off the courts before you go on.
