EPC Hosts EHS Pickleball Students

About 20 Evergreen High School juniors and seniors from Phys. Ed. teacher Beau Brake’s Recreational Sports class visited Wulf Rec Center on Tuesday and Friday this week to play with the “experts.” Sarah German worked with WRC staff to schedule an hour of play each day. “Experts” Monty Estis, Vic Thompson, Owen Ellis, Bob Taber, and Jerry Beth and Gary Owen worked with the students on their scoring, serving and rallies. Improvement in skills, enthusiasm and competitiveness was noticeable between Tuesday and Friday. Fridays make everyone better at pickleball.
